Katharina:

• The Introducing Gap With God Episode was the first episode that we recorded. We wanted to upload and release episodes in the order that we recorded them and/or in the way that it would make sense to people, and also to follow our evolution with Christ.
• It felt important to give insight into what our past was like without Jesus, what led to us choosing a life in Christ, and what our lives are like (at the time of the recording).
• In our testimonies, we give even more in depth of our journeys. At the time of the “Introducing Gap With God” testimony, both of us had formed a relationship to God’s Word, we had gone through a time where everything was being stripped away. Our desire was to be stripped from distractions. And our conversations were birthed from resurfacing from that purification.
• We were ready to have a conversation when we had reach a point in our conviction of our Walk with Christ where there truly was no return. When we begin speaking about our faith a bit too soon, when we are still growing, we are very prone to being shaken into doubt, inner conflicts etc. Naturally intuitively we felt unshakable. We just reached a point of being totally surrendered with how these conversations would reach people. This was all born out of obedience.
• We are gifted a sense of nuance into the conversation so that there’s a gap we can begin filling, instead of just saying, “New Age is deception, Follow Christ”. We believe there’s a lot in-between there we need to talk about so that those who are in the gap are met.
• We have for sure some episodes that are way more fire. For example, one episode is on keeping “One Foot In and One Foot Out”. It has a Truth revealed to us through His Word, and that fire of Truth comes through.

Martine:

• I have a deep Trust in God coming through our voices, and He comes through when we don’t analyze what we’re saying, when to record, when to publish, but be obedient to sit down. Whatever has been revealed to us during that season, during that moment, where we’re at in our lives at that time, we trust that there’s someone out there that might need to hear those exact words, at that exact time, in that exact tone of voice, in that exact way, and it’s not up to us to know what the end result is going to be. That’s how I approach it and how approach this endeavor. This is how I approach creative projects overall.
• God connect people together. The Holy Spirit is what we use to discern what the relationship is for. What the friendship is about. God wanted to use our stories for the greater God. It’s about using the Holy Spirit to be obedient to act of what we’re revealed about the purpose of our friendship, letting the friendship be something that contributes beyond ourselves. Once you’ve found God, that’s what it’s about! Everything before then is just a warm up. Now it’s literally not about you anymore. It’s Christ through you.
• Hopefully the stories we share can bring some nuance into the picture. Both of us come from an atheist background, lived in a linear way, then came into new age for a decade or more, and then we were on our highest peak of that before we were deeply humbled, and received these revelations. Then there’s a continuous stream of revelation that comes through after that too.
